Coffee Morning

I’ve the day off today so I’ve finally had a chance to give the Lovell Rosters beans a go. Here are some piccys. The demi cup was the second shot I pulled and is probably the best and darkest crema I’ve ever seen come out of my machine – I turned it into a macchiato. The bean has a great aroma and a solid taste with some lingering bitterness (it’s a fairly dark roast). I like it, well done J & A!

Have I ever told you my brother-in-law is a barista at GG’s Ryde? I’m not much of a coffee connoisseur, but even I can tell he makes a good coffee. Should introduce you some time. At the very least, he’s happy to talk coffee for hours to anyone who’ll listen.

I knew he was a barista but didn’t know if he was still into it. We run into he and Rach @ West Ryde Woolies sometimes. I’ll have to drop in and get a coffee from him sometime.
